The method of preparation is artisanal
First the hand-peeling, to make the peels as thin as possible, without breaking them and losing the essential oils, then a patient infusion process in the purest grain alcohol, without artificial scents and colouring. From the harvest, each fruit is kept separate from the other to keep its characteristics intact. Even the maceration process takes different lengths of time depending on the fruit. When it ends, the essences are skilfully combined in a recipe that we purposely keep secret.
The citrus fruits are grown at the Saverio Albanese farm in Casignana, Reggio Calabria, in the South of Italy.
The infusion and bottling take place at the historic Bordiga 1888 distillery in Cuneo, internationally renowned for the quality used in its production.
